Veterans Outreach

The senior managers of Tank Partners have a tradition of supporting our military, even going so far as assisting a program named Project Kabul that supported our troops in Afghanistan and helped girls in Afghanistan attend school. Project Kabul resulted in the building of two girl’s schools and over 10,000 girls attending school for the first time. Girl%27s School 4

In Perryton, TX, the senior managers of JL Bryan Equipment are actively involved in the Wounded Warrior Project. Brent Bryan, VP of JL Bryan Equipment, served in the Marine Corps as a Machine Gunner and was attached to several infantry platoons on the ground. Stationed in the Camp Lejeune, NC, Echo Co. 2nd Battalion 6th Marine Regiment, Brent was deployed to several countries including Japan, Skopje Macedonia, Kosovo, South Korea, Italy, Greece, and France for Marine Expeditionary Unit duties.

Having veterans in the senior ranks of the companies does not make a program, however. Therefore the Tank Partners Veteran Outreach Program has set for itself three goals:

  1. The hiring of skilled veterans who have honorably separated from the military - to date six veterans have been hired.

  2. Working with veteran owned companies that process the raw materials the companies use in the manufacturing of its products.

  3. Building a partnership with corporations who also support veterans, by becoming the main manufacturer and supplier of storage tanks and vessels to those companies.
